Maker education: Empowering individuals to make a better world

Maker education has the potential to empower individuals to think critically about complex systems and encourage them to be active participants in building and shaping the future they want. This talk addresses concern about how individuals use available technologies to create a safe and sustainable world. Creating real-world situations for ourselves and others to respond to generates potential to develop the necessary confidence and ability to create a better world.
