Speaker Deadline Approaches

June 1 TEDxEvansville speaker submission deadline approaches
Speakers will be selected based on inspiring ideas

EVANSVILLE, IND. – Individuals who have “Ideas Worth Sharing” at 2015 TEDxEvansville have until Monday, June 1, to submit an application or nominate a speaker at www.tedxevansville.com/speak. TEDxEvansville has already received numerous applications and expects an uptick in submissions during the last week of May.

The Oct. 15, 2015, TEDxEvansville event, held at the Evansville Museum’s Koch Immersive Theater, will be built around the idea of “renaissance,” a fitting topic as the Evansville community currently experiences a rebirth, revival, and amplification of energy and excitement, in many ways. Organizers seek dynamic speakers to use the concept of renaissance to inform, inspire, surprise and delight.

Speakers will be selected based on their ideas. Before applications go to the speaker selection committee for review, personally identifiable information will be removed, ensuring speakers are selected based solely on ideas.

TEDxEvansville is organized by a volunteer group of Evansville-area community advocates, who are excited to introduce the TED experience to the tristate area and spotlight bright minds and inspiring community members who provoke meaningful conversations and change.
